Waking Up With Mindfulness – a 28-day immersion!

January is a dark month on a normal year, and these days it is doubly so. Taking care of oneself throughout it all is so important, and we are excited to release a 28-day online immersion called Waking Up With Mindfulness to help support you in that endeavour within your own life.

This is a complimentary offering that is freely accessible to everyone – made possible with financial support from the Government of Manitoba Safe At Home program! #safeathomemb

Starting January 4th, we will release a 20-30 minute practice video everyday for the rest of the month on my YouTube channel. This course is designed to introduce the beginner-meditator to simple and sustainable mindfulness practices, while also offering support to those with previous experience. All the course material is taught by me, Adrienne, with technical support from David Quiring.

Practising mindfulness meditation has been shown to reduce stress, improve mental health, and strengthen resilience. In what is usually considered the most depressing time of the year, let us focus on taking good care of ourselves so that we can better serve others with our presence.

Mindfulness is within reach of us all and will meet each of us where we are. In this spirit, the practices offered will utilize technology to be as accessible as possible – emphasizing high audio quality to serve those with vision impairment and closed captioning to serve those who are deaf or hard of hearing. You can practise with us sitting or lying down, in the morning or evening, when you are feeling good or maybe not-so-good, alone or with a roommate…whatever your situation, we invite you to practise with us.

Both David and I hope that this offering can support us all as we continue to navigate the challenges of living in the COVID-19 pandemic. Feel free to share this with your family and friends!

SOUNDSCAPE – at Altona Yoga

Sunday October 25th, 2-4 pm, $50, at Altona Yoga, 40 Main St, Altona, MB

UPDATE: SOLD OUT!

I am excited to bring the practice of sound to Altona Yoga! This is the only in-person workshop I have planned for fall 2020.

Through music, resonance, and breathwork, experience a form of yoga rooted in the belief that everything is a form of sound.

By employing certain frequencies, we can inspire healing and the release of unhelpful patterns in all our layers of being.

Experience:

  • A deep dive into the theory of sound healing and yoga
  • A sound bath for you to integrate the philosophy into practice

Expect to spend your time seated or lying down, so comfy clothes are ideal.

July livestream SOUND BATH – join us on YouTube!

Join us for our next livestream sound bath on Tuesday, July 21st (7:30-8:30 PM CDT / 8:30-9:30 PM EDT)!

Take the time to mark July’s new moon – an excellent time to clear space for newness and establish intentions for the future.

A sound bath is a meditation on sound: we practise awakening to sound, and rooting ourselves in sound. You may be sitting or lying down. Listening through headphones can enhance the experience, but it is not necessary.

You will be emailed a private link to gain access to the livestream on the day of the sound bath (July 21st). When you click on the link, it’ll open up in your internet browser or YouTube app, depending on the device you are viewing it on (computer/tablet/smartphone). The email will be sent to the email address you use during the payment process. Please ensure you enter a valid email address.

As before, 10% of all proceeds will be donated to A Dollar A Day Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting frontline mental health and addictions programs across Canada. Thank you for making a difference.

Sorry, no refunds. Please read our terms here.

2020 has been an intense year already, to say the least. With all that is happening, let’s take some time to slow down and process what we are experiencing. Give yourself the chance to receive sound that promotes healing.
