The Yoga Library – NEW!

Take me with you wherever you go! I travel well!

This newest batch of pre-recorded classes (over a dozen!) ranges in intensity, moods, and intentions to support your needs in the moment. From bite-sized to substantial, they vary in length (10-60 min) to fit into your schedule.

Find vigour in building strength or stillness that helps you to deeply rest. Or go beyond yoga and try one of the bonus meditation practices, which includes a guided body scan and sound bath meditation for you to soak in (aurally, that is).

For those of us fortunate enough to have a home or safe personal space to practise in – may these practices support you in your development.

End of an era: Yoga Public is closing Oct 4, 2022.

All things come and go.

It is with great sadness to share that Yoga Public announced on Friday Sep 2 that it is closing its downtown doors on October 4, 2022, after 10.5 years. This is the home where I have met so many wonderful people and where I’ve devoted so much practice and teaching since its inception. I am deeply grateful to each and every person who has ever contributed their time and energy to that space.

All of this comes as a bit of a shock (teachers were told the news on Friday too), and unfortunately this means that my remaining time at Yoga Public is very limited. If you would like to come to my class(es) there while you still can, please check the studio schedule.

And, life goes on after October 4th. If you are interested in taking my classes, consider signing up for the October livestream session, purchasing my online yoga library / courses, and reading my newsletter for updates (subscribe here). It means a lot to me as I figure out what’s next.

Thank you for allowing me to do what I love for so many years.

This is not the end. It’s just a moment after the last.

Love,

Version 2.0 of PPE is here!!!

I’m very excited to share that our online yoga library has been updated!

Pandemic Practice Experience (PPE) is now Version 2.0, with the addition of TEN brand new videos! Thanks to your feedback, I’ve made practices that are shorter (ranging from 10 to 40 min) so that it’s easier to fit into your schedule.

Designed to be efficient, accessible, and diverse, the new practices are:

1. Yoga for Strength
2. Yoga for Calming Down
3. Yoga for Mobility
4. Yoga for Balance
5. Yoga for Wrist / Shoulder Injury (no downdogs or vinyasas!)
6. Yoga for Energy
7. Yoga for De-stressing
8. Yoga for the AM
9. Yoga for the PM
10. Yoga for Sleep (on the sofa!)

There’s a ton more physical demonstration in these videos, to help out the visual learners among us. I had a lot of fun designing these practices for you; enjoy and let me know what you think!
