February livestream yoga session – starts Feb 5th

It is natural to want to plan ahead. Amidst the chaos of life, it is a human need to exercise agency and control. But what happens when this becomes rigid? When do we actually get to living life when we are always planning for life? Practice is a microcosm for exploring how we can make peace with not always being prepared, and learning to trust ourselves to meet each moment with curiosity. We invite in the unexpected, and with any luck, the unexpectable.

January livestream yoga session – starts Jan 8th

Optimism is not naïveté; it’s a strategy for envisioning and enacting a better future. Our words and actions grow out of our thoughts and beliefs. It is through a vision of hope that we speak up and create the change we want to see. How might this unfold, in a place like your practice?

December livestream yoga session – starts Dec 4th

As we near the end of another year, it can feel both natural and uncomfortable to slow down. Can our practice show us how we can hold space for the multilayers of the human experience?

Please note that Dec 25th will be a 75-min recording, instead of the usual 60-min live class. The recording will consist of a 45-min active (Yang) practice and a 30-min restorative (Yin) practice. It is designed so that you could do the full practice or just its parts, depending on your wishes. Please note that access to this recording will be extended to 14 days (until Jan 8th).

Dec 2023 livestream yoga

November livestream yoga session – starts Nov 6th

We continue through the transition of fall. Change can be uncomfortable, and so much of our practice focuses on tolerating the unpleasant. While this is necessary and worthwhile, we might lose sight of remembering that we also need to learn to enjoy the pleasant. What if learning to invite in the pleasant is what gives us greater capacity for sitting with the unpleasant? Practice is an opportunity for us to invite in whatever is arising, whether wanted or unwanted.
