Introducing: Saravat.

One aspect of this year’s Ayurvedic Spring Reset that I’m strongly emphasizing is skincare. Our skin is:

– the largest organ of the body
– our protective barrier from the elements
– an external indicator of our internal health.

Just like how we take care of the food we eat, Ayurveda teaches us to take care of what we put on our skin.

For several years I have made my own skin lotions and serums, sharing them with a few friends and clients – and with their encouragement, now I am going to share them with you!

I’m so excited to launch Saravat, my collection of Ayurvedic skincare rituals. Everything has been made according to Ayurvedic principles, and with lots of heartfelt purpose and intention. I’m starting off with just a few items, but plan to offer more as time goes on.

We are going to ease into things by having only local pick-up at the upcoming Reset workshop and set dates (the Saravat website will have more details) – but shipping options will come shortly.

I hope that these Saravat formulas support you in your journey towards healing and well-being.

Namaste,
Adrienne

MindFULLness Workshop 2: DIY Kitchen Staples!

Thank you to those that came to the first instalment of our “Putting the FULL in Mindfulness” Workshop series!  I still can’t believe that we sold out; I’m so glad that everyone is excited about exploring how eating well can support living well!

If you didn’t get the chance to make it to the first one, don’t miss out on the second workshop, “DIY Kitchen Staples” on Saturday November 26th (3:30-5 pm, $35, at Yoga Public).  Angie Pringle and I will continue to explore the empowerment of healthy eating and living.  Taking an in-depth look at our pantry staples, we will investigate the benefits/drawbacks of store-bought food products and how easily you can make your own versions of these with simple and wholesome recipes.  Attendance at a previous workshop is not necessary, though those of you that have come to the first workshop will hopefully find that the second one will deepen your understanding of Ayurveda and mindfulness through food.  Hope to see you at one or all of the workshops!
