Equanimity is often explained as non-judgement, which in its brevity can be misunderstood as never judging anything, ever. However, to not judge would be to deny a part of being human, and to minimize the importance of discernment. Instead, let’s make space for judgements to arise (you me both know they will anyway) – and, to practise holding those judgements lightly. Let’s be okay with changing our minds! Being agile is for both our bodies and our minds.
Join me for practice in May, and let’s be okay with having strong opinions, loosely held.
