fall is here!
I’m not sure if it’s because I was in school for over 20 years, or if fall is really magical, but September feels more like the beginning of a new year to me than January. I’m really looking forward to delving into practice and sharing that with you as the weather cools. The weekend vipassana retreat on October 3-5 with Jonathan Austman is full already, but there is still space in the Ayurvedic Diet Cleanse Workshop at Yoga Public on October 19th, 2-4 pm! A change in seasons is a great time to reset, let go of the past, and make space for what is around the corner. I hope you can join me!
meditate. eat. repeat.
I am so pleased to announce that I will be preparing the meals for a silent vipassana weekend retreat with Jonathan Austman at the Sandy-Saulteaux Spiritual Centre in Beausejour, Manitoba, October 3-5, 2014! I am really looking forward to cooking nourishing and calming food for our students as they endeavour to deepen their practice. Registration and more details to come soon!
vinyasa flow + kirtan fundraiser for Fierce Grace.
To heal the world, we have to heal ourselves first. Please join Lorna Parashin and I as we guide a special practice to support a global fundraiser for the Fierce Grace Foundation, started by One Yoga. All proceeds will go towards supporting youth-oriented yoga programs. I will start us off with Kirtan, and then Lorna will lead us through a lovely vinyasa flow practice.
The donation-based event will be on Saturday July 19th, 5:00-6:30 pm, at Yoga Public.
I hope you join us!
