what is ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a 5000 year-old traditional healing method that was developed alongside the practice of yoga. The two systems complement eachother; while yoga teaches us to cultivate awareness in how we move and breathe, Ayurveda teaches us to cultivate awareness in all aspects of living: how we eat, our daily habits, and self-care practices. Both yoga and Ayurveda emphasize waking up to our present selves so that we can navigate our lives with balance and grace.
