Please join Angie Pringle and I for the final MindFULLness workshop on Saturday, January 23rd, 2017 (3:30-5 pm, $35, Yoga Public). We will discuss how plant proteins are a great way to nourish yourself and take care of our planet. We deserve to eat well, but the way our food is grown can have a taxing effect on the environment. We will explore sustainable ways to affect positive change in the health of not only us, but the place we call home.
We are very excited to invite Ryan Pengelly of Tamarack Farms to join us and to share his personal stories of being a quinoa farmer in Manitoba! There will be an opportunity to buy his quinoa (cash only), and sample tasty treats made with his delicious crop.
Hope you can join us! Please register at www.yogapublic.com.
Join David Quiring and I for a Kirtan at Soul Survivors (118 Osborne Street, Osborne Village) on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 (6:30-8 pm, $20+$1 processing fee). Usher in another year, and embrace the healing serenity of winter by gathering with us to practice! Soul Survivors is a body art studio located in the heart of the city, and we are grateful to share this practice in its unique atmosphere. Free parking is available in the surrounding side streets.
UPDATE on January 13th: SOLD OUT!!! Thanks to everyone for buying tickets!

Join me on Wednesday January 11th (6:45-8 pm) for this intimate evening of ritual, community, beauty and wisdom. Challenges are inevitable both on and off the yoga mat; let’s explore how we can navigate the ups-and-downs with resolve and equanimity. Space is limited to 15; please visit Yoga Public to register.
***Update on Jan 4th: this workshop is sold out!!!***
Thank you to those that came to the first instalment of our “Putting the FULL in Mindfulness” Workshop series! I still can’t believe that we sold out; I’m so glad that everyone is excited about exploring how eating well can support living well!
If you didn’t get the chance to make it to the first one, don’t miss out on the second workshop, “DIY Kitchen Staples” on Saturday November 26th (3:30-5 pm, $35, at Yoga Public). Angie Pringle and I will continue to explore the empowerment of healthy eating and living. Taking an in-depth look at our pantry staples, we will investigate the benefits/drawbacks of store-bought food products and how easily you can make your own versions of these with simple and wholesome recipes. Attendance at a previous workshop is not necessary, though those of you that have come to the first workshop will hopefully find that the second one will deepen your understanding of Ayurveda and mindfulness through food. Hope to see you at one or all of the workshops!
